    I had an awesome Thanksgiving

                                                                                                 turkey.jpg

This was actually, an awesome Thanksgiving this year. I had it at my aunt's and uncle's house this year.

At my house, this morning, my mom and sister were making the food. We had a turkey in the oven, ham sitting on the counter, my sister mashing potatoes, and a lot of other things going on. I kind of helped with the potato mashing. Kind of. It was really delicious. I use make my potatoes different, but my sister's potatoes are more smooth-like and tasty.

Oh, and there was a delicious apple pie on the counter.

Then we took that all to my aunt's and uncle's house. I played with my cousins. We ate. I ate a lot of mashed potatoes (my fave), peas & carrots, corn, turkey, and a little ham.

My other aunt brought this delicious raspberry chocolate cake from La Madeline. It's like one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. I also had slices of apple pie of course.

Then I played with my cousins and brothers upstairs. I took a look at Alex's (alexandra's) new laptop. It was pretty neat. Fast and quick. Too bad she plopped a DVD in there, and it got stuck within the laptop. NOT good.

Then I went home and relaxed.

That's pretty much all that's happened. Have an awesome Thanksgiving break.

    19 days until my birthday!

19 days until my birthday! Can't wait.

My birthday is December 6 btw. Mark it on your calendars.

I don't know what I really want this year. I'm not even sure what I want. Maybe a Zune 80. Who knows.

Just a few more weeks left.

I'm #29 out of more than 870 students in my grade!

I checked out my class ranking today.

It seems that I'm #29 out of more than 870 students in my grade for having smarts.

That's pretty good. Ties for the same spot aren't a surprise though.

Right after checking during lunch, I went outside to talk with some friends, and this girl, Christina, also is #29 with a GPA of 6.5. Wow.

So that means I'm in the top 10%. Or if you do that math, in the top 5%. That's pretty good.

I've always thought I was kinda dumb, and less sophisticated than my classmates, but it's nice to know that I'm not so dumb.

I got a 70 on my Spanish III quiz. Sigh. There was this section, and you were suppose to conjugate the verbs in the past, but I did them in the present. I guess I should read the directions better.

I had a Alg. II quiz today, and I think I did horrible. 6 questions, and I'm only sure around 2-3 are correct.

    Things aren't looking good.

    Perfect Friday

Well, nothing's ever "perfect", but you get the idea. This is practically the best Friday I've had in a long time. I think it's the best Friday I've had the whole school year. We even had a pep rally to loosen the day.

    Here's how it went today:

    • Morning - Woke up, didn't miss the bus.
    • 1st period - Watched the Julius Caesar video. The whole class period.
    • 2nd period - No gym class today. Just watched a Crime Stoppers presentation and a guy from there told us about crime stuff. Most of it is pretty obvious already. Kind of a waste of time. I also sold a lot of candy from Interact there! Like 10 bars!
    • 3rd period - watched a DVD of "el Dia de los Muertos" - Day of the Dead for Mexico. Pretty interesting, but VERY corny. Kind of lame actually. We also ate some pan de muertos, essentially bakery bread, with sprinkled sugar. It was ok. SOLD ALL of my candy before 3rd period as well. 40 bars = 40 dollars in barely 2 days.
    • 4th period - Had a quiz, pretty straightforward. It took a long time, but I think I did ok. I've been pretty thorough in my quizzes lately. Rest of class was just doing homework.
    • 5th period - Had a vocab. quiz. I didn't really study the vocab. words, but I think I did all-right. Then we talked about how to do a "history essay" the right way. Compared to the ones last time, we definitely needed help. Things like no using "I's" and "you's", and addressing only the FACTS, not opinions, etc. Man do I hate essays!
    • 6th period - Got the test grade back from the Chem. test. 94! We had 10 A's, 10 B's, and 1 F in our class. I feel sorry for the F-guy, Kyle. He's really cool. Well, then we went to the pep rally. It was better than the one before. I even took videos this time. I'll upload them on YouTube and MSN Soapbox soon. After the pep rally, we went back, and had a Magic Show! Our chem. teacher, Mrs. Moehring, showed us some cool chemical reactions. They were pretty neat. Especially the disappearing color fluids, and the Luminal-like thing. Really awesome. Just for fun.

This by far is the most easiest day I ever had. I wish every day could be like this. I even sold all my candy. Thanks to my persuasive charm and all. :)

Well that's about it. I'll upload some videos soon.
